Andrew Kassoy, with Jay Coen Gilbert and Bart Houlahan, co-founded B Lab in 2006 to build a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Prior to B Lab, Andrew spent 16 years in private equity as a Partner at MSD Real Estate Capital, an affiliate of MSD Capital – the $12B investment vehicle for Michael Dell – and as a founding partner and Managing Director of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners. He serves on the Board of Echoing Green and is a member of the U.S. National Advisory Board of the G8 Social Impact Investing TaskForce. Andrew is a 2001 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute, a winner of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, and a recipient of the McNulty Prize. Andrew graduated with distinction from Stanford University, where he was a Truman Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa, and a President's Award winner.
