EVP, Communications, Participant Media
Ann Boyd is Executive Vice President, Communications for Participant Media, where she oversees the communications strategy and operations across Participant’s media portfolio, including its film and documentary divisions; TV network, Pivot; and digital brand, TakePart.com. As the company expands globally and onto new platforms, she is responsible for elevating its message of social impact through entertainment.
Boyd most recently served as EVP, Global Communications at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she managed the corporate communications and social responsibility teams.
She joined Sony as VP, Global Communications in 2008 and helped lead its corporate media relations, in particular raising awareness for Sony Pictures’ environmental sustainability, technology, and digital initiatives.
Before joining Sony, Boyd served as VP, Corporate Communications for Fox Interactive Media where she helped build the PR function from the ground up. Prior to Fox Interactive Media, she worked for AOL, where she led music and entertainment communications.
She serves on the Board of Directors for the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, which serves the LA Public Library.
