Ashley's work focuses on how technology and innovation can improve the lives of the world's poor. She has designed and scaled products that are currently used by over 3 million people in 7 countries, and has also had her work on exhibit at the Nobel Prize and Smithsonian museums. She has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and MBA/ MSc in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford, where she attended as as a Skoll Scholar and Pershing Square Scholar. She is currently working for X [formerly Google X] as an early stage evaluator, proposing and leading social impact projects for X build in its moonshot factory.
