Carina Barnett-Loro

Outreach Coordinator, Climate Advocacy Lab, Skoll Global Threats Fund

Biography

As an outreach coordinator for Skoll Global Threats Fund’s Climate Advocacy Lab, Carina supports practitioners in their efforts to build the public and political will necessary for U.S. leadership and action on climate change. She leads workshops and trainings across the country that bring together advocates, social scientists, and data experts to develop cross-sector collaborations and share evidence-based best practices. Prior to joining the climate team at SGTF, Carina worked as a community organizer on climate and clean energy campaigns with the Union of Concerned Scientists and North Carolina Sierra Club.

Outside of the office, Carina spends time volunteering with organizations working to end homelessness in San Francisco, perfecting her guacamole recipe, caring way too much about college basketball, and chasing sunsets around the city.
