Biography

Anthropologist from Colombia worked for several years managing companies in Colombia, Ecuador and United States related to hospitality business. After a change in life which took him for several years to travel through Asia learning from local rural communities and traditional elders, came back to Colombia to start La Juanita Finca Verde. A rural hub which uses sustainable practices and permaculture to generate balanced ways of life in balance with natural, social and cultural environments, La Juanita Finca Verde became a referent regarding social innovation at rural Colombia.

Organized the first rural TEDx event at Colombia, TEDx Guatavita as a very effective platform to generate social transformation and empowerment at rural Colombia. Afterwards organized several TEDx in a box events, at rural and peripheral locations throughout Colombia.

Co founder of Th1nk, a company specialized on design thinking towards effective change, through which several transformation initiatives, as the implementation and national wide scaling of TED Prize Sugata Mitra SOLE methodology at rural Colombia in collaboration with the Colombian government and private businesses.

Is currently a graduate teacher at Universidad De La Sabana, and Grant Adviser at The Pollination Project.
