Biography

I am a Mexican economist, specialized in applied economics. I have master degrees, in Social Policy Research, Population and Development from The London School of Economics (LSE). My fields of interest are regional development, poverty, income inequality and data visualization. Also I have interest in the convergence between the digital world and the social, political and economic environments, in order to unlock the potential of new media and digital tools as new sources of data and research mechanisms. I have worked for the government, the private sector, academics and the civil society. Now I am in the Social Progress Imperative developing the initiatives of the SPI Network.
