Kathara Green supports programming for the Skoll World Forum, an event which seeks to accelerate entrepreneurial approaches and solutions to the world's most pressing problems. In this role, she curates session topics and recruits leaders from across sectors to share their expertise and wisdom with the Skoll community.
Prior to joining the Skoll Foundation, Kathara worked in the nonprofit and social sectors. Kathara led programming for the Net Impact Conference, as well as worked on Net Impact's year round educational programs and online learning. She started her career working at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. Kathara has also worked for the State Department, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and Women for Women International.
Kathara graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she focused on international development and gender, as well as studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. When she's not working, she loves to travel, recently sailing through the Panama Canal and onto the Galapagos with her family.
