Kim Meredith

Biography

As the Executive Director of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS), Kim Meredith has been responsible for strong financial performance and organizational growth including scaling the budget eight times in five years. Meredith joined in June 2009, led the team to acquire the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) and opened an office at the Stanford Center at Peking University. She brings dynamic and innovative leadership engaging scholars, practitioners and leaders in interdisciplinary research to explore ideas for social change. She serves a unique role by bridging research and practice, informing philanthropy, nonprofit practice, policy and social innovation. Prior to Stanford PACS, Ms. Meredith served as the Chief Development Officer for Planned Parenthood Federation of America in New York City. Before joining PPFA, she served nine years as the COO at Planned Parenthood in San Francisco. Ms. Meredith launched her business career at AT&T for 10 years. She serves on the Boards of the California Family Health Council, George Lucas Education Foundation, and Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund. Graduated Stanford University B.A. Economics.
