Marjolaine Chaintreau is currently Vice President in Citi Microfinance team with a special focus on financial inclusion in Latin America and Africa. Working across Citi’s businesses, product groups and geographies, Citi Microfinance serves 150 microfinance institutions, investors and corporations as clients and partners in 50 countries, with products and services spanning the financial spectrum – from financing, access to capital markets and hedging foreign exchange risk, to supply chain finance and payments platforms - to expand access to financial services for the underserved.
Marjolaine held positions as a risk analyst and relationship manager for Citi Corporate and Investment Bank in the UK and in Spain. Prior to joining Citi, Marjolaine graduated with a Master of Corporate Finance and Strategy from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and worked for a microfinance institution in South India in their finance and marketing departments.
