Product Manager, Tala
Yoni is most interested in how we can shape social and economic systems to address our most pressing needs. He’s currently a product manager at Tala, where he works on designing and developing better financial services for the global middle class. Prior to joining Tala, he worked on business strategy and user research for EARN, a US-based nonprofit that helps low income Americans build savings. He’s also worked on asset-based community development in rural Rwanda and on building bridges across class differences in Lahore, Pakistan.
Yoni holds a degree in Political Science with a focus on Global Development from Carleton College, where he completed his thesis comparing the approaches social enterprises take to bringing about positive social and economic change. He’s happiest when in nature, meeting people with similar interests, or embarrassing himself on the dance floor.
