The Markkula Center for Applied Ethics is the world’s leading proponent for practical ethics in personal and professional life, and hosts programs in Bioethics, Business Ethics, Character Education, Digital Journalism Ethics, Government Ethics, and Internet Ethics. It also has a Campus Ethics program, which facilitates projects with students and faculty in multiple disciplines at Santa Clara University and hosts events that engage the campus and broader community. In dialogue with Silicon Valley and global society, the Center conducts research and inquiry into important ethical questions, and provides useful resources to promote ethics in everyday life and equip individuals and institutions to act with integrity.
