    Kavita is Practice Leader, Markets at WWF. The Markets Practice leverages market mechanisms including working with small producers and enterprises, international companies, value chains and consumers to help meet the WWF goals of protecting wildlife, forests, freshwater, and oceans as well as mitigating and adapting to climate change. The Practice focuses on shifting demand for commodities like palm oil and rubber to sustainable options, reducing demand for illegal products like ivory, developing circular economy solutions e.g. for plastics, supporting community enterprises gain economic benefits from conservation of biodiversity – all underpinned by innovations, like blockchains. Previously, Kavita was the founder and executive director of Grow Asia, a multi-stakeholder partnership in South East Asia, catalyzed by the World Economic Forum and the ASEAN Secretariat, focused on inclusive and sustainable agriculture development through supporting smallholder farmers. Prior to that Kavita was Global Head, Food Security Agenda at Syngenta International focused on developing new business models that enable environmental sustainability of agriculture and development of smallholder farmers. Kavita has also held positions as Executive Director, SustainAbility in London; Associate at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC; and as Brand Executive at Glaxo SmithKline in India. Kavita is a Board member of Volans, Member of the Unilever Sustainable Sourcing Advisory Board, and a Member of the Advisory Board of SustainAbility Inc. She has been a Member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Food Security and Nutrition; Member of the Rice Bowl Index Advisory Board; Member of the Executive Committee of the Southern Agriculture Growth Corridor of Tanzania; Board Member of the Institute for Human Rights and Business; and a Trustee of the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre.
  • International Director Community Fair Trade, The Body Shop
    Dame Anita Roddick, the late Founder of The Body Shop, believed that ‘Trade not Aid’ could be an effective way to alleviate poverty. This vision led to our pioneering Community Fair Trade (CFT) programme that launched over 26 years ago. Mark Davis oversees the CFT programme, which sources high quality products through long-term direct relationships with small-scale suppliers in 21 countries, helping over 320,000 people earn a sustainable income. Mark starting at The Body Shop in 2004 as a Senior Buyer for Community Fair Trade, in 2008 he was appointed Head of Innovative Natural Raw Materials in L’Oreal Advanced Research, before returning to The Body Shop, in 201,1 to head the Community Fair Trade programme. Prior to joining The Body Shop, Mark worked for six years in the finance sector specialising in venture capital in South America and Asia. In 2009 he took this experience to the development sector, working on social businesses and micro finance projects.

    Bob Annibale Global Director, Citi Community Development and Inclusive Finance Bob leads Citi’s partnerships with global, national and local organizations to support inclusive finance and community development through economic empowerment. He also leads Citi’s commercial relationships with microfinance financial institutions, corporations, investors and municipalities, working across Citi’s businesses and geographies to expand access to financial services in underserved communities. Since joining Citi in 1982, Mr. Annibale has held a number of senior regional and global treasury, risk and corporate positions in Athens, Bahrain, Nairobi, London and New York. Bob serves on the U.S. FDIC Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion and the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs Advisory Council on Financial Education and Inclusion. He serves as a Founding Member of SAGE’s Housing Advisory Council supporting the senior LGBT community, and serves on the board of the Citi Foundation, Accion International and the Bedford Stuyvestant Restoration Corporation. In 2014, Bob was honored by the Obama Administration as a White House Champion of Change for his work leading Citi’s programs promoting immigrant integration and citizenship in the United States. His leadership contributed to Citi’s recognition by Euromoney as the inaugural “Best Bank for Financial Inclusion” and “Latin America’s Best Bank for Sustainable Finance”. Bob was individually recognized by Euromoney as a “Global Impact Banking Champion”. In 2018, he was again named by the Financial Times as one of the OUTStanding Top 100 LGBT Business Leaders for the fifth consecutive year. Bob, a U.S. and U.K. national, holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Vassar College, New York, and an M.A. in African Studies (History) from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies.

    Tony Siesfeld is a director at Monitor Deloitte and a senior leader of Monitor Institute, a practice serving foundations and nonprofits. He has over 25 years of experience in for-profit and for-impact advisory work. Recently, he worked in the areas of impact investing & financing social innovation (with the GIIN, B-Lab, Omidyar Network, New Profit), inclusive business practices (Citi Foundation, Tufts University, USAID) & women’s rights (WWB, ChoiceUSA, MS Foundation). He focuses on social action strategy, measurement and evaluation, and bringing leading practices from for-profit businesses into the social sector. His work has been noted in HBR, the FT, and the Wall Street Journal. He has contributed to publications such as the Journal of Strategic Performance Measurement, and Forbes ASAP, and to the publications of organizations such as Sloan Foundation, the Brookings Institution, and the OECD. Tony has an M.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University.
