Biography

Ann Miles is the Director of Financial Inclusion at The MasterCard Foundation. The Foundation advances youth learning and promotes financial inclusion to catalyze prosperity in developing countries.
Previously, Ann was a Managing Director at BlueOrchard Finance, S.A., a for-profit asset management company based in Geneva, Switzerland which specializes in microfinance commercial debt and equity investments. She managed their US operations, BlueOrchard Finance USA, Inc. from 2005 to 2011.
Ann has also worked for Women’s World Banking, where she managed the Capital Markets team; and as Vice President of Citibank, N.A., where she worked in trade finance, corporate and private banking.
She has been instrumental in the formation of several industry initiatives including the Microfinance Club of New York (‘MFCNY’) and Women Advancing Microfinance International (‘WAM’).
Ann graduated with a B.A. in Economics and French Literature from Drew University.
