Candice Motran

Biography

Candice has been with Big Society Capital since June 2013. She works on the Investment team with a focus on communities, financial inclusion, as well as impact strategy and measurement. In particular, she is working on a programme to end the poverty premium in the UK by 2027. Before joining Big Society Capital, Candice worked as an innovation and growth consultant at The Foundation, advising clients from the third sector, financial services and retail. Prior to this, Candice participated in the social enterprise leadership programme On Purpose, during which she designed and implemented a social impact measurement system for HCT Group. She has an MBA with Distinction from Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, and a Bachelors’ degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). Candice represents On Purpose alumni on the On Purpose Board, and volunteers as a mentor with the Prince's Trust.
