Biography

Eva Szalkai Csaky is Sustainable Value Chain Lead at the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group.

At the IFC Eva has been responsible for various investment areas and financial innovations covering over two dozen countries around the world, working in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy and clean water access and farmer and small enterprise productivity and sustainability.

Eva is currently responsible for the areas of sustainable value chains and social entrepreneurship and is leading several projects targeting clean water, off-grid energy and climate smart technology access working closely with global brands, NGOs, academic institutions and various donor organizations.

Eva has an MS in Finance from the George Washington University, an MA in Public Policy from Duke University, and is completing her Ph.D. in Public Policy at Duke University.
