Biography

Lola Omolola is widely recognized as the Premier expert on strategic community building who has successfully mobilized close to two million women to get serious about living a conscious life as a foundation for actualizing individual, family and professional success. After spending more than two decades of in-depth experience in radio, TV and digital project management, Lola knows what truly drives human-to-human communication in a way which improves understanding, collaboration and meaningful connection.

Lola’s passion for women's issues can be traced back to her childhood in Lagos, Nigeria and her natural cerebral ability to relate with fellow women led her to create and lead Female IN (FIN)™; an exclusive Facebook community which has successfully hosted multi-thousand attendee FIN CONNECT events in more than 80 cities across 4 continents and to create FIN CHAMPIONS; a platform for direct learning and mentorship. FIN has become such an effective platform for social change that Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg highlighted Lola and her work with FIN as a model for building meaningful communities. Melinda Gates has also featured Lola as a "woman doing incredible work" following her ONE.org's Women of the Year award.

Lola is passionate about building inclusive communities, women safety and well-being and empowering women (SDGs 16,3,5). She travels the United States and internationally to provide engaging keynotes and to ignite discussions on these subjects. She also leads workshops on effectively using Facebook to create high-energy and social-impact focused communities.

Lola has landed coverage in english and french print and broadcast outlets around the world, including BBC, NPR, Newsweek, Reuters, VOA, The Guardian, Los Angeles Sentinel and Chicago Tribune. Lola holds a BA in broadcast journalism with a concentration in television from Columbia College, Chicago where she currently lives with her husband, daughters and widowed mum.
