Biography

Nathan Willcox develops key partnerships to advance the Climate Learning Initiative at Skoll Global Threats Fund, based in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the Skoll Global Threats Fund in January, Nathan worked for 12 years for Environment America, a non-profit environmental advocacy organization. There he directed Environment America’s federal global warming program for three years, focusing on organizing and advocacy to promote climate, clean air and clean energy policy solutions. While at Environment America, he helped to secure implementation of the 2017-2025 national clean vehicles standards, the Environmental Protection Agency’s first-ever mercury pollution standards for power plants, EPA’s proposed carbon-pollution standards for power plants, and EPA’s strengthening of air quality standards for particle pollution. Nathan has a B.A. in Environmental Policy and Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C.
