Programmatic Director, Fundacion Avina
He is the Strategic Supervisor for the Water Access Initiative at Fundacion Avina (www.avina.net), covering 15 countries in Latin America. The objective is to help provide access to water to 5 million people more by 2015. He is also Avina’s Liasson with the Social Progress Imperative (www.socialprogressimperative.org), with the mission to deploy the Social Progress Index in Latin America.
Before that, during 2002-2009, he was a Regional Representatives of Fundación Avina, in charge of supervising the offices of Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. He was also a member of the Avina Council, the governing body of the organization, from 2002 to 2008.
Before that, from 1998 to 2002, he was in charge of the Avina local representation, based in Paraguay, with responsibilities over Bolivia, Paraguay, and northern Argentina.
