Rwitwika Bhattacharya is the CEO for Swaniti Initiative, a non-profit that delivers development solutions to government officials in India. As CEO her role focuses on developing long-term growth strategies and formulating key partnerships with central and state government bodies. Prior to Swaniti, Bhattacharya was working at the World Bank as an Associate on on Labor Market Issues. Her work experience includes working in firms like UNFPA and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. She is a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bacherlor's in Economics and Political Science from Wake Forest University. She has published two book, "Frontiers in Development Policy" (World Bank) and "Labor Market Primer" (World Bank) and is currently working on her third book "Making of a Politician" (Harper Collins). Bhattacharya is Forbes India's 30 under 30, a special Invitee to the White House for her work on Social Enterprise, a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shaper Program and recognized as an emerging leader by the Australia Indian Youth Dialogue.
