Stuart Davidson co-founder and Chairman of Sonen Capital, a dedicated impact investment management firm. He is also Managing Partner of the early stage, technology-focused venture capital fund, Labrador Ventures. Previously Stuart served as CEO of Combion, Inc., which was later acquired by Incyte. He was also President of Alkermes, Inc., and worked for MCI Communications and Warner Communications. He is the chairman of d.light, an off-grid solar energy company; a founding board member and founding funder and board member of Acumen Fund where he chairs the investment committee; Vice-Chair of REDF where he established the Farber program; and was the founding Board Chair of IDEO.org. He is a trustee of the Woodcock Foundation and served as a member of the investment committee of the Skoll Foundation. Stuart is an advisory board member of the Global Health Group at UCSF and the Global Impact Investing Rating System (GIIRS. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Business School.
