Thank you for your interest in the Skoll World Forum! With this year’s expansion by an additional day and many more exciting events running in parallel, there are plenty of ways to engage with social entrepreneurs and business, government, and civil society leaders and innovators.
The Forum is by invitation only. If you are a member of the press and interested in covering the Forum for a media outlet, please reach out to Teresa Guillien at Teresa@resource-media.org. Full delegate passes and day passes are available. At this time, media registration requests are being reviewed and decisions are being sent on a rolling basis. However, due to space limitations, only a limited number of selected journalists will be admitted.
A number of other events will take place throughout Oxford during Skoll Week (Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7, 2017). The Skoll World Forum plenaries will feature speakers including Atul Gawande, Hamdi Ulukaya, Winnie Byanyima, Don Henley, Jim Yong Kim, Michael Franti, and Bono. Plenaries are open to the public. For those who are not registered Skoll World Forum delegates, plenary tickets are available here online and a full list of externally-hosted Ecosystem Events is here.
Future of Media Track
This year we introduce a new Future of Media track at the Skoll World Forum to bring experts together to better understand the current global media landscape and its mounting challenges, and to identify the most promising short- and long-term solutions that can help support a thriving media ecosystem, and with it, vibrant civil society and democracy around the world.
The curated Future of Media track includes a kick-off breakfast, sessions on civil discourse in the social media age and the future of news, delegate-led lunch discussions about public media and investigative journalism, and more. Learn more.
